About the method
SuJok is not just acupuncture, it is a whole philosophical system created by Korean professor Park JaeWoo that includes a wide range of treatment techniques through influencing energetically active points on the hands and feet.
The physical body of a person is reflected on the hands and feet, i.e. all parts, systems and organs of the body have their own projection on the hand and foot (hence the name Su - translated from Korean as hand, Jok - foot). In addition, meridians - energy lines of the body - are projected onto the hand and foot, through which it is possible to harmonize the energy system of individual organs, systems and the body as a whole. In SuJok, in addition to acupuncture, there are a number of other treatment and healing methods: moxotherapy, magnetic therapy, seed therapy, color therapy, bodily practices of Sam Won Gong and Sam Won Dong, smile therapy.
The unique methodology of SuJok allows for narrowly focused treatment of functional disorders in the body, emotional states and cognitive functions of the brain. It also allows you to regulate a number of systems in the body (immune, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, nervous, etc.) Due to the versatility of the approach and the location of the topography of the points, the patient does not experience any embarrassment (the points are located on the hands and feet).
